EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR BSEB STET 2024
To be eligible for the BSEB STET 2024, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
Paper-I (Secondary):
Hindi: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Hindi and a B.Ed.
Urdu: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Urdu and a B.Ed.
Sanskrit: A Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed.
English: A Bachelor’s degree in English and a B.Ed.
Mathematics: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, physics, or chemistry and a B.Ed. Or, B.Tech. with Mathematics and B.Ed.
Science: Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Zoology, or Chemistry and B.Ed/ B.Tech. with Science and B.Ed.
Social Science: Bachelor’s degree with any two of the following subjects – History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science (studying History or Geography is compulsory) and B.Ed.
Paper-II (Senior Secondary):
English: A Master’s degree in English and a B.Ed.
Mathematics: A Master’s degree in Mathematics and a B.Ed.
Physics: A Master’s degree in Physics and a B.Ed.
Chemistry: A Master’s degree in Chemistry and a B.Ed.
Zoology: Master’s degree in Zoology and B.Ed.
Botany: A Master’s degree in Botany and B.Ed is mandatory.
Commerce: A Master’s degree in Business Studies/Accountancy/Entrepreneurship and a B.Ed.
Computer Science: A minimum of 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree f in the subject of Computer Science, or equivalent.
AGE CRITERIA FOR BSEB STET 2024
As of August 01, 2023, candidates must meet the following age criteria:
Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
Maximum Age Limit: 37 years
AGE RELAXATION FOR BSEB STET 2024
For Female (UR) candidates: 3 years
For OBC candidates: 3 years
For SC/ ST candidates: 5 years
