The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization in India that conducts recruitment exams for different job positions in government ministries and departments. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR SSC STENOGRAPHER RECRUITMENT 2023
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination.
AGE CRITERIA FOR SSC STENOGRAPHER RECRUITMENT 2023
As on 01-08-2023:-
Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 years to 30 years.
Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 years to 27 years.
AGE RELAXATION FOR SSC STENOGRAPHER RECRUITMENT 2023
For OBC candidates: 3 years.
For SC/ ST candidates: 5 years.
For PwD (Unreserved) candidates: 10 years.
For PwD (OBC) candidates:13 years.
For PwD (SC/ ST) candidates: 15 years.
For Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates: 3 years after deduction of the military service.
Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for Group ‘C’ posts only
For Central Govt. Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service: Up to 40 years of age.
For Central Govt. Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service (SC/ ST): Up to 45 years of age.
Widows/ Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried: Up to 35 years of age.
Widows/Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ST ): Up to 40 years of age.
