The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in the Government of India. It was established in 1994 to carry out human resource development and related activities in the areas of information, electronics, and communication technology (IECT). NIELIT plays a crucial role in promoting and implementing various initiatives of the Indian government, such as capacity building in the IECT domain, skill development, e-governance projects, and fostering innovation in emerging technologies. NIELIT has its headquarters in New Delhi and operates through a network of centres across various cities and states in India. These centres serve as training hubs and offer state-of-the-art facilities to students, professionals, and government employees.
