ABOUT:
MPPGCL, or Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited, is a government-owned company in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It's responsible for generating electricity in the state and runs multiple thermal and hydropower plants. Established in December 2001, MPPGCL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL), which is also owned by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The primary goal of MPPGCL is to meet the increasing power demands of the state and contribute to its power sector's overall development. The company operates various thermal power plants, including coal-based ones, and is also involved in hydropower generation.
