EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR INDIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN IN THE GROUP ‘Y’, MEDICAL ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT 2024

To be eligible for the Indian Air Force Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/ Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 

• Candidate with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy. Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 

PAY SCALE FOR INDIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN IN THE GROUP ‘Y’, MEDICAL ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT 2024

The scale of pay for the positions is as follows:

• A stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid during training.

Note: On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) is Rs. 26,900/- per month.

AGE CRITERIA FOR INDIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN IN THE GROUP ‘Y’, MEDICAL ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT 2024

Candidates must meet the following age criteria:

• Maximum Age Limit for the candidates who have completed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent including vocational course: 21 years

• Maximum Age Limit for the candidates who have completed Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy: 24 years

Note: Candidate should be unmarried and born between 24 June 2003 and 24 June 2007 (both dates inclusive).

General Medical Standards for the candidates are as follows:-

• Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.

• Weight: Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.

• Chest: The minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cm.

• Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.
