EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR ICAR-IIMR SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW & YOUNG PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT 2024

To be eligible for the ICAR-IIMR Senior Research Fellow & Young Professional Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Candidates should possess an M. Sc. in Agricultural Extension / Extension Education / Home Science Extension / Agricultural Economics/Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Food Technology/Food Science and Nutrition/ Master Degree in Agricultural sciences/M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Mycology/M.Sc. in Entomology or equivalent degree/Post-graduation degree in any discipline in Agriculture/ Horticulture/and allied subjects (allied subjects include agri-business management, business management, agricultural marketing, etc.)/Post-graduation degree in Mass Media/ Communication/any other relevant degree/Post-graduation degree in agribusiness management, business management, agricultural marketing, Business administration/Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/Life Sciences/12th Standard plus a 2-year Diploma or 2-year Polytechnic in Agriculture/Degree in Human resources, Administration, Agribusiness management, Business management.

PAY SCALE FOR ICAR-IIMR SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW & YOUNG PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT 2024

The scale of pay for the positions is as follows:

• The Scale of Pay for the post of Senior Research Fellow/ Young Professional is Rs. 31,000/- or Rs. 42,000/-

AGE CRITERIA FOR ICAR-IIMR SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW & YOUNG PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT 2024

Candidates must meet the following age criteria:

• For SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years for women

• For YP-II: 45 years

• For YP-I: 45 years

Note: Relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per rule.
