Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a company owned by the Indian government that deals with copper production. It is part of the Ministry of Mines in the Government of India. HCL is unique because it handles all the different stages of copper production in one company. Its main goal is to find copper in the ground, mine it, and then process it through various stages to create pure copper metal that can be used for different purposes. HCL also refines the copper to make it pure and ready for use.
