To be eligible for the GPSC Superintendent of Fisheries, Geologist & Other Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
Superintendent of Fisheries: Possess a Post Graduate Degree in Fisheries Science or in Master's Degree in Science.
Assistant Director(Chemistry): Possess a Ph.D. or M.Phil. Degree.
Additional Assistant(Civil): Possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Geo Hydrologist: Possess (I) a Post Graduate Degree in Geohydrology or in Geophysics or in Applied Geophysics or in Geology or in Applied Geology.
Geologist: a Post Graduate Degree in Geology or in Applied Geology.
Scientific Officer: A Post Graduate Degree/ Bachelor’s Degree,
Principal: A Post Graduate Degree.

The scale of pay for the positions is as follows:
Superintendent of Fisheries: Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. Rs. 1,42,400/-(Level-8)
Assistant Director(Chemistry): Rs. 67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/-(Level-11)
Additional Assistant(Civil): Rs. 39,900/- to Rs. 1,26,600/-
Geo Hydrologist: Rs.67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/-
Geologist: Rs. 53,100/- to Rs. 1,67,800/-
