ABOUT:
The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is like a special government agency in India. Its job is to take care of employees and workers by giving them security and health insurance. It is part of the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Indian Government. ESIC follows a law called the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Act, which was made in 1948. The main purpose of this law is to help employees and their families in case they face unexpected health problems. ESIC offers different types of benefits to employees who are covered under their scheme. These benefits include medical assistance, money support, maternity leave benefits, help for disabled employees, and support for their dependents.
