ABOUT:
The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti (DHFWS) is a specific administrative body responsible for healthcare and family welfare programs in the Nadia. It's in charge of making sure people in the district get healthcare and family help. They do lots of important things like giving vaccines to kids, taking care of pregnant women, and stopping diseases from spreading. They also teach people about staying healthy and check if their health programs are working well. They manage the money for health and family programs and make sure they have enough doctors and nurses. The DHFWS in Nadia works with the state and central governments to help the whole community stay healthy.
