EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR CSIR-NPL PROJECT ASSISTANT, PROJECT ASSOCIATE & OTHER RECRUITMENT 2024

To be eligible for the CSIR-NPL Project Assistant, Project Associate & Other Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Project Associate-I: B.Tech / BE in ECE /ETE / Instrumentation / EEE or equivalent/B.Tech / BE in Computer Science / AI / ML/BE / B.Tech Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engg/ BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communications / Physics / Computer Science / IT / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation/ with CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship or valid GATE/B.Tech / BE in ECE /ETE / Instrumentation / EEE or equivalent/ B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical)/ MSc in Biochemistry/ Analytical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Organic / Inorganic Chemistry/biotechnology/Master’s Degree/B.E./B.Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Master’s Degree/B.E./B.Tech in Physics/electronics /instrumentation/ Master’s Degree in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Electronics/

• Project Associate-II: B.Tech/BE in ECE/ETE or equivalent/B.Tech/BE in CSE/IT or equivalent and two years experience with CSIRUGC NET/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering

• Project Assistant: Diploma in CS/IT/Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering

• Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc. (Physics/Materials Science), With two years post M.Sc. research experience/ M.Tech. (Materials Science/ Nanotechnology/ Instrumentation)

• Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. (Physics), with minimum 55% marks and passing of CSIR/UGCNET

PAY SCALE FOR CSIR-NPL PROJECT ASSISTANT, PROJECT ASSOCIATE & OTHER RECRUITMENT 2024

The scale of pay for the positions is as follows:

• Project Assistant I: Rs 20,000/- or Rs. 25,000/- or Rs. 31,000/-

• Project Associate II: Rs. 28,000/ or Rs. 35,000/-

• Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/-

• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 35,000/-

• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 31,000/-

AGE CRITERIA FOR CSIR-NPL PROJECT ASSISTANT, PROJECT ASSOCIATE & OTHER RECRUITMENT 2024

As of January 30, 2024, candidates must meet the following age criteria:

• Project Assistant 35 year

• Project Assistant: 50 years

• Senior Research Fellow: 32 years

• Junior Research Fellow: 28 years

Note: Relaxation of age for SC/ST/ OBC /PWD /Women is as per GOI/CSIR rules.
