EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR BPSC HEAD MASTER RECRUITMENT 2024

To be eligible for the BPSC Head Master Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• B.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed from a recognized institution.

• Must have passed post-graduation with at least 50 % marks from a recognized university. 05 % relaxation will be given in the minimum prescribed marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Extremely Backward Class/Backward Class/Disabled/Women and Economically Weaker Section. The degree of Fazil awarded by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, Patna/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and the degree of Acharya awarded by Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be considered equivalent to postgraduate.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BPSC HEAD MASTER RECRUITMENT 2024

• Must be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar state.

• Must have passed the teacher eligibility test for teachers appointed in the year 2012 or later.

• The above provision will apply to teachers appointed under Zilla Parishad/Municipal Body appointed in 2012 or thereafter.

• It will be necessary for teachers appointed under Panchayati Raj/Municipal Body Institution to pass the efficiency test before the year 2012.

• The provision of efficiency tests/eligibility tests will not be applicable to teachers working in schools affiliated with different boards like CBSE/ICSE/BSEB.

EXPERIENCE FOR BPSC HEAD MASTER RECRUITMENT 2024

• For secondary teachers in state government schools under Panchayati Raj institutions and municipal bodies.

• Minimum 08 years continuous service in the post. (b) CBSE/ICSE/BSEB. Minimum of 12 years continuous service in the post of Secondary Teacher in a school having permanent affiliation from Govt.

• Higher Secondary teachers under Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body Institution in State Government schools.

• Minimum 04 years of continuous service in the post.

• CBSE/ICSE/BSEB. Higher Secondary teacher in a school having permanent affiliation from

• Minimum 10 years continuous service in the post. The said period will be calculated from the date of contribution or the date of obtaining training qualification, whichever is later.

• This will be done on the basis of date. 

• C.B.S.E./ I.C.S.E./ B.S.E.B. Experience certificate of teachers of schools having permanent affiliation from the concerned school issued from the level of Principal of the concerned school is valid.

• If in the past you have been appointed and working on the post of secondary teacher in schools recognized by CBSE/ICSE/BSEB and later on you have been appointed and working on the post of secondary/higher secondary teacher in Panchayati Raj/Municipal Body Institution. By adding together the experience period of both types of schools, a minimum experience period of 12 years will be considered.

• If in the past you have been appointed as a higher secondary teacher in a school run by CBSE/ICSE/BSEB and later on you have been appointed as a higher secondary teacher in a Panchayati Raj/Municipal Body institution, the experience obtained in both the ways. But if teachers of the above category have B.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. during their service period or earlier. degree and have experience and qualifications like other teachers can apply.

Note:- Experience certificate issued by the headmaster (including in-charge) of their respective school for the teachers of Panchayati Raj Institution/Municipal Body Institution will be valid, but after selection, the experience certificate countersigned by the District Program Officer (Establishment) at the time of appointment will be valid.

AGE CRITERIA FOR BPSC HEAD MASTER RECRUITMENT 2024

As of August 01, 2023, candidates must meet the following age criteria:

• Minimum Age Limit:  31 years

• Maximum Age Limit:  47 years
