Exam pattern: -

The exam pattern of NEET exam is quite simple. After from fill-up now you have to give the written exam, and it is the only exam you have to clear,after that, there will be only document verification process.

The exam pattern of the written exam is described below: -

·         Total marks: - 720

·         Types of question: Multiple choice questions.(there will be 200 questions, and you only have to answer 180 questions)

·         Markings: - 4 numbers for each question, and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

·         Time duration: - 3 hours 20 minutes.

·         Relative subjects: - Chemistry, Physics, Biology.

Syllabus: -

The syllabus of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is decided by the National Medical Commission. The syllabus is based on only three subjects: Biology (Botany and Zoology), Chemistry, and Physics.

Age Limit: - 

The age limit of this exam is described below: - 

§  Minimum age limit: - The candidates must have completed 17 years till 31st December of his or her admission.

§  Maximum age limit: - There is no maximum age limit for this exam. 

NEET Exam date: -

The date of this exam is 5th May, but in case of any emergency situation the date can be changed.

Eligibility criteria: -

Let’s discuss about some of the NEET eligibility criteria’s: -

·         The minimum age of the aspirant should be 17 years.

·         Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India, and foreign nationals are also eligible for the exam.

·         NRI and OCI Candidates have to upload their NRI and OCI certificate to support their claim.

·         A foreign applicant also has to upload document of proof to support their nationality.

Educational Qualification Rules: -

These are some education qualification rules, which needs to be followed strictly by the NEET aspirants. Check the rules below: -

·         Candidates must have pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, biology, and English as their core subject from a recognized board.

·         Candidates, who studied Biology as an additional subject are also eligible for the exam.

·         There are no restrictions on the maximum attempt, so you can give as many times as you want.

·         Aspirants of general category have to pass the class 12 exam with 50% marks.

·         Aspirants of SC/ST/OBC category have to pass the class 12 exam with 40% marks.

·         Aspirants of PWD category have to pass the class 12 exam with 40% marks.
